Notes & Combos

So I wanted to try smth different as this Maliss+Ryzeal meta is pretty bad and it gets frustrating and/or boring to have the same crappy gameplay, so I can at least provide something interesting to watch on my YouTube channel while also not getting burned oht myself from playing my favorite deck.

I was using a board breaker focused during last season but still choosing to go 1st, here I went a bit more focused on going 2nd with Protos as a way to beat Maliss as Breakers are still not enough to win the game against them, while Protos is still very good if you can call Light against Ryzeal or Fiendsmith decks and probably good in other matchups as well.

Droplet is probably the best way to clear Bagooska + Starligie board, Eclipse works but they can counter with Ash and the card isn't good into Maliss.

Spoly works against some Ryzeal boards and obviously very good as a aet disruptions vs Maliss while only ok into their board.

Scheiren is a nice lv4 extender to make Chaos Angel or Banshee to get into Protos, it can send stuff frmm hand and you can mill it with Foolish to make Mudragon if you have a spare DARK you can shuffle.

There are some issues with the list, like it's difficult to summon Protos if you hard draw it when you didn't had Maxx c or Fuwalos as Im not playing any easy to summon link in the extra that isn't LIGHT/DARK, for that I could try to add Cross-Sheep but the extra is already very tight.

The other issue is having to play more cards and you often don't draw the right breaker and you also see Maxx c/Fuwalos less, but that's a meta issue, there's no solution to the format.

Lancea is still gonna skip your turn most of the time but maybe you can clear some stuff and have Droplet and or S.Poly set for their turn.

The playlist has all Diamond games. The starting list has 1 less Saronir, which I added to make it better to play into set Called by (why is this card legal?)
