Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Pure Dark Magician deck with some adjustments to compete against current meta. Feel free to swap the Bystials for 3x Ash Blossom (due to Branded popularity) or 3x Evenly Matched, since I've been alternating between those options. Triple Tactics Talents is insane right now but due to DM needing every card in your hand to function properly, it can sometimes be lackluster.

Unlike previous seasons, DM wasn't my only played deck, but it was the majority of my climb, so I decided to submit it under this stats:

  • Total duels (Master 5 to 1): 76
    • Dark Magician: 46 duels
      • General Win rate: 52.2%
      • W/R Going 1st: 73.7% (14/5)
      • W/R Going 2nd: 37% (10/17)
      • Highest Winstreak: 4
      • Highest Losestreak: 4
      • Coinflip win rate:
      • 39.1% Heads
      • 60.9% Tails
  • Spright Melffy: 28 duels
    • General Win rate: 64.3%
      • W/R Going 1st: 90% (9/1)
      • W/R Going 2nd: 50% (9/9)
      • Highest Winstreak: 4
      • Highest Losestreak: 4
  • Win/Loss Rate - Coinflip:
    • 39.3% Heads
    • 60.7% Tails
  • Most played match-ups:
    • Spright: 28.4%
    • Branded Bystial: 20.3%
    • Tearlaments: 12.2%

In conclusion: the more decks in the meta, the worse for DM since we have to add more tech cards and it hurts the strength and consistency of the deck, and we can't afford that.
