Pretty smooth climb before some grinding at DL 19 (12 games). I played a list without Supreme King until DL 16.
Evilswarm Nightmare here is experimental. It didn't come up much and many other cards can replace it. I only summoned it near the end of a full combo. The idea is to flip down special summoned Maliss and Ryzeal Main Deck monsters to prevent them from being Link and XYZ material. Basically keep them off enough bodies with Nightmare while your other interactions handle the extenders. Nightmare is a WHEN effect so you often need to decide between negating an on-summon effect or flipping the monster face-down.
Supreme King Gate Zero's monster effect came up more than usual. It saved my combos a few times. A Dragon synchro or fusion pend monster such as Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon or Supreme King Z-ARC Synchro Universe could replace Evilswarm Nightmare. Or Magician of Hope, an easy to summon rank 4. This would make it easier to enable Pendulum Evolution's 2nd pend summon effect which also came up a few times.
