Deck Concept

Infernoid players only want one thing, and that's milling unreasonable quantities of cards.

In pursuit of this goal, this deck plays only a single Reasoning/Monster Gate target to maximize the average cards milled off a single spell. There are some risks associated with only having one target, but they're more than balanced by the rewards. Additionally, the deck has some ways to recycle Snow in case of emergency.

The usual play pattern of the deck is to remove or bait the opponent's spell negates and Ash Blossom, then resolve a Reasoning/Monster Gate. From there, you very likely have the resources to dismantle your opponent's remaining board while link climbing up to an OTK. Monster negates, most forms of spot removal, and even Maxx "C" can be brute forced through once you have a stocked graveyard, so don't worry as much about those.

Extra Deck Package

Between Extra-Foolish Burial, Ultimate Slayer, and Infernoid Tierra, you have a lot of ways to send your extra deck targets to the yard. The targets are as follows:

  • Elder Entity N'tss: Spot removal.
  • Psy-Framelord Gamma: Can be used to recycle Fairy Tail Snow from your graveyard or as graveyard hate against the opponent.
  • Tri-Brigade Ferrijit: Can be used for card selection or to recycle Snow from hand. Crucially, the card goes to the bottom, so after returning Snow your next Reasoning or Monster Gate will mill your entire deck, after which winning should be incredibly trivial. In a pinch, it's also another attribute to banish for Accesscode.
  • Borrelcode Dragon: A niche but powerful target that removes a high attack Dark monster and summons Zeroboros for free. Unlike the other targets, you're also able to summon this normally.
  • Infernoid Tierra: You'll often want to send the 2nd copy of Tierra off of Tierra's own ability for the extra Infernoid in the yard. In a pinch, sending it off your Foolish or Slayer can get you enough material for another Infernoid, which can be extremely impactful if you have Monster Gate but nothing to tribute, so don't forget that it's an option.
