Notes & Combos
The main idea behind the build is to compensate for the hits to the Ryzeal engine. Since we can’t play a large number of Ryzeal cards anymore, the added recursion from the Time Thief package becomes really valuable.
Time Thief is part of the main combo. After going into Duo Drive, you consistently make Perpetua to attach Bezel Ship. The usual end board is Detonator + Perpetua + Redoer, with Plugin set and Mass Driver ready to add itself to Redoer as material.
The extra grind and follow-up matter a lot in the current format. Drawing into Winder is especially strong, since it acts as your best extender by summoning itself and searching the counter trap.
The Zoodiac package gives the deck an alternate starting line. Barrage by itself gets you to the same core board, while also ending on Drident with material, without using your normal summon.
The only extra deck slots I’m not completely sold on are Emeral and Vallon. The meta was pretty grindy, so Emeral’s shuffle-back effect came up, but S:P could definitely be a good option in that slot too.
