Notes & Combos
The culmination of all the various "not as good as fiendsmith" engines I have been using to try and make my petdecks viable. Basically an all gas 60 card variant of Centur-Ion that uses the different engines to push through boards. First season ever playing centur-ion but happy to have them in my roster! It consists of the centurion main then 3-4 supplemental engines:
-
The Heart and Soul: Centur-Ion
- Pretty basic ratios on this. Went with 2 phalanx to be able to revivie primus on turn 1 and either link off into appo or xyz into #38
-
Flower Power: Trick star package
- Went with a small trick star package as both offer more cards for discard fodder, is a level 4 monster for synchro summons and the fieldspell helps agaisnt backrow forcing interaction. It also provides a field spell to pop for ancient fairy dragon. Just the perfect combo for this deck.
-
Chaos Control: Chaos Space/Ravine
- The maindeck is 90% light and dark so chaos space is just perfect. provides draw power and gets you into your engines. I use both dragons to make rommulus, search ravine then send boot sector launch to dump either lubellion or destrudo depending on which engine you need online. (destrudo for centur-ion and lubellion for horus/bystial/ some centur-ion lines).
-
Dance like an Egyptian: Horus
- Lv 8 monsters with no restrictions and provide banish fodder, draw power and better endboards? just a matchmade in heaven. Went with the full package barring the field spell as sometimes you have plenty of dud cards in hand to discard to make appo. #38 or a synchro
-
Dragon UP: Bystials
- Fiendsmith is everywhere so these are my handtrap of choice. The level 6 bodies are great for baron plays, provide fodder for ravine combos, allow for easy recursion with regained. Etude was my tech of choice because a one sided dimensional fissure is basically an auto loss for most of the top decks right now.
The deck is easy mode going first, so I went with majority going second cards/gas instead of handtraps to just 1 card combo to victory. Being 60 cards allows for fun 1 one off cards like droplet and evenly matched (which you can grab off thrust to break boards)
Might push it to Master 1 but with the season ending soon not sure. Plays well around maxx C being able to just centur-ion combo. Niburu just keep an eye out as if used at the wrong place can really hurt. Just try to stay in each engine as long as possible and if it gets interuppted move to the next.
