Deck reached Master rank on 8/27/23.

Never been a fan of Ash Blossom's artwork or effect so I've never ran that, and I also don't run Maxx "C" by principle. I'd imagine one could make a much stronger version of this deck by using them, but I'm satisfied having reached Master rank with this deck as it is.

The Thunder Dragon section of the deck is both the main part and also a decoy of sorts for the generic Link package and Chaos Angel. People are spooked enough by Colossus that they'll waste Unicorn and Diablosis removal on that and Accesscode, after which you can just beat them over with the rest of your available options. You can often bluff out Maxx "C" and push for very short combos into Chaos Angel, Colossus, or a simple small control board with Lubellion + Branded Beast.

An earlier version of this deck included Beatrice instead of Avramax but toward the end of Diamond I swapped over the Avramax as Beatrice was seeing very little use. Charmers fell off a bit over the course of the climb but were never useless; Knightmare Unicorn, too, got used less and less over time. Knightmare Phoenix was used scarcely but was pretty brutal when that did come up. Any of those cards listed are viable flex slots in case one might want to run a second Thunder Dragon Titan or something.
