Notes & Combos
Reached Master 5 on April 4th, 2026. All thanks to Mulcharmy Purulia for accompanying me through the ladder.
Made some changes from the previous decklist such as follows:
- Took out Sales Ban and Absorb Fusion in place of two Book of Eclipses. The latter is more helpful against VSK9 decks as it prevents Forced Release and Lupis from resolving.
I tried using a Super Polymerization build previously, but it did not perform well because my deck became very bricky. I also tried playing an Imperm-less list but it turned out to be problematic against floodgates like Naturia Beast or Barrier Statues.
The banlist kind of helped to tone down the power level of top decks such as Dracotail, Yummy, and VSK9. But RT-Maliss was becoming more prevalent nowadays. Be prepared whenever you fight against RT on the ladder, there is a chance they will pivot to a Maliss strategy.
