Notes & Combos

Time to continue hogging Volcanics submissions even though I'm quite sure blinding second is not at all standard. Just something to keep in mind. n_n;; Oh and be sure to submit otherwise if you can!

Anyways, not much different from my previous submission from a few days ago, so check that out first if you want my broader strokes yapping.

As for changes, I dropped 1 Volcanic Blaze Accelerator. It feels decent to hard draw since it's a piece of spot removal that can hopefully force an interaction. But I think in most cases I could get similar results with Triple Tactics Talent, but also with more options, so I upped that from 2 to 3 instead.

I also dropped Birch, it being a potential extra extender off Bonfire just comes up way less frequently than I'd like. Likewise I dropped one copy of Trooper. Ideally ignoring Poplar, ~5-6 normal summons is around correct for a 60 card blind second deck. But Bonfire is potentially extra copies of either SnAsh or Trooper, sometimes without much else to do (especially now that I dropped Birch). Unfortunately in most cases, normal summoning SnAsh is the safer bet, so I'm now erring on the lower side of 5 to help avoid normal summon conflicts.

In place of those 2 slots I added 2 copies of Red Reboot. I ran into enough Mathmech matches where they feel warranted, and they have enough supplementary uses against various archetypal traps/Imperm/Silvera/etc that they feel like alright general inclusions.

Similarly, as funny as it was, I also dropped Blaze Fenix for Earth Golem @Ignister to make Super Poly more relevant vs Mathmech. I just haven't been running into as much Kashtira where Fenix came up the most, and I already have other poly targets for Snake-Eyes.

Proxy F Magician probably should have always been Knightmare Phoenix, so now it is!

I keep waffling back and forth between Apollousa and Zealantis. I recently had a match where I would've liked to have Zealantis, so now I'm back on Zealantis lol. Apollo was mostly Nibiru insurance, and is more accessible than might first appear thanks to being able to steal link-3s like Heat Soul. Ditto for Zealantis thanks to stealing opponent link-4s like Apollo.

I make no claim to be good, but here's some matches I thought were either funny or not my worst showings ever from the odd moments I actually remembered to go through my match history: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1-ZC_VHe6yUb8M_LwFMcD1p3LxX2dWnu
