Notes & Combos
-When in doubt, normal summon Ze Amin for search Rising Carp (if you dont have or Foxy Tune if you do incase of drill). More often then not an opponent will think you are desperate. If you aren’t then you are in a good place to keep comboing. -E Tele gives access to full combo without using hand or gy effects unless you decide to use Deer Note in grave. -If you have Gamma, always bait with a search or special summon. This then goes into Accel Synchron and then Baronne. 5 summons if you searched or 6 if you special summoned, so use lvl 3 effect before going into Baronne. Alternatively, you can use Gamma and Driver to go into Jam Dragon to search a lvl 3 psychic and then go into Jam Fever for negate, this will guarantee 4-5 summons before Nib cooks you. Gamma can always be sent to gy with Foxy Tune and reborn with Accel Syncrhon for Baronne or extra bodies into Little Knight. -try to get access to Wa Gon and have 2 remaining punk PSYCHIC pay life activations to maximize draws off field spell (2 max). These include effects of Sharakusai, Ze Amin, Madame Spider, Jam Dragon (and if you are desperate or have materials, Jam Fever draw) -If you can access full Punk combo without using hand or gy effects, you can minimize opponent using K9 against you. Typically once I have a negate, I will then willingly access these effects to turn on my own K9 cards if I have them or draw into them with field spell. -If you are playing second, I will try to gain access to rising scale. Starting either Punk cards first then K9 or vice verse try to exhaust all opponent interactions before using rising scale to access PEP if I can get game or Amazing Dragon to help clear their board. Generally, leaving a portion of your deck hidden, is a great way to have opponent assume you are desperate and use all interactions to shut you out for good. Werewolf also pretty good for dealing some damage. If you manage to leave opponent without any negates and didn’t use Sharakusai fusion effect then game likely will be in your favor. K9 can also be used to try and get advantage back. -If you can special summon a Punk lvl3 and normal summon or special summon a K9, you can then synchro Jam Dragon search a lvl 3 to further combo and then exceed into Jam Fever to have a negate for Ash Blossom on Rising Carp or K9. This will at least force out Izuna. You can subsequently search Ghost Belle which will prevent K9 interruption. Best target for Ghost Belle is on Lupis activation to exceed so it will banish itself when it leaves the field -K9 cards or Jokul and Deer Note together gives you access to Ripper and plenty of lvl 5s for lvl 8 synchros. Punk gives plenty access to level 3s so Deer Note grave effect in grave can either be used to reborn an ED Punk monster for Jam Fever or lvl3 punk for a lvl 8 synchro -If you can search Lantern while having a k9 in grave then it gives access to more combos. Foxy Tune can always be used to dump these K9 cards. -if you have to Ash Blossom a Maxx C/Fuwa/Puru then might as well use hand effects for search or gy effects to maximize end board. -You can put up around 7-8 disruptions consistently with no opponent hand traps, more with the perfect hand. Less if they interact ofc. -Dragite if preferred lvl 8 synchro for me outside of combo due to getting a spell/trap negate and usually having monster negates already. Draco Beserker also a fun lvl 8 synchro that can stop Lupis exceed (better than Izuna in hand) or VS cards in hand trying to bounce and dodge targeted negates and/or destruction.
