Notes & Combos

I think I've become better at this deck!

From diamond to master5 I used my 60-card list of the previous month (also played DC 1st stage with that list). Then I saw LMT's master1 list and felt greatly inspired so I tried trimming down my list. I followed that list largely except with some more handtrap/protection included. I think belle is a good card to have and I'm glad I finally spent the dusts for it. Some high profile belle targets include big welcome, snake eye (dragon summoning 2 from grave and promethean), and notably math superfucktorial LOLOLOL snake eye is a strong and flooding deck but I find it not that challenging to play against snake eye with this deck.

It was played without bouncer, rose girl, and circle of fairies (with the 3rd lily and the 2nd strenna) from master5-4, as well as the majority of DC 2nd stage. It felt okay to be honest since I'm slightly more comfortable with finishing combos and if I succeed in doing so bouncer is mostly not needed to win.

However as things progress, it became compelling that bouncer could sometimes emerge as a strong option if my opponent resolves a maxx c, so I made a bit of tweak to include it. Rose girl is always a strongly viable option available to this deck type even if one doesn't play bouncer.

The contrast in consistency is pretty stark, with a smaller list I have a much more comfortable time going 1st against handtraps (as LMT put it). Although I would say that it might be more reliant on drawing good handtraps if going 2nd since the most powerful card for breaking boards is merely TTT at 2 copies, whereas in the 60-card list one have options such as small world (and its targets).

I'd say a notable strength in the Rikka (sunav) deck type is its good compatibility with non-engines, especially handtraps as of now.
