Notes & Combos

Hello again! I took a break from ladder to play the qualifiers to DLV20. But I'm not gonna lie. Climbing with this deck was rougher than last season. The top decks set up multiple layers of interaction that are very difficult to play through. If they have handraps on top of that or you open with a subar hand it can feel kind of hopeless.

I noticed most top decks are not particularly negate heavy. So that's why I decided to play multiple boardwipes like raigeki and dark hole (didn't have the third raigeki or any illusion gates). If these resolve they force the opponent to use some of their layers of interaction to reestablish their board instead of interrupting what you're doing. Besides, raigeki and dark hole is instawin against any unfortunate rouge Enneacraft players
