Notes & Combos
So Maliss is here and with it Lancea and Chaos Hunder too.
Is it bad for us? Yes, and there's not much we can do about it. Maliss is way too strong going first and bcuz it's the most popular deck we have to try to win games against it going 2nd and the only way to do that is to resolve Maxx "C" or Lancea/Chaos Hunter. Otherwise you will endup having a really bad winrate.
Playing both Lancea and Chaos Hunter will make our deck weak to other strategies so it's better to play one of the 2. Lancea has more upsides, it doesn't play into Talents, and you can use Crossout Designator to negate Lancea against you. You can technically do the same against Chaos Hunter but you will have to clear it in some way, while Chaos Hunter can setup some plays with the discard. The biggest downside of Chaos Hunter is that some hands can clear it quite easily with Cerberus and with an extender it will be like nothing happened, while it also loses to Talent.
This list is the straight forward list with some small changes, I'm playing pne less Bystial than usual and adding a TDhawk on its place, this lowers consistency by a bit but it allows me to have more ways to play under floodgates as it's also another top deck that works in those cases too.
The Foolish Burial helps with consistency which you need to compensate the deck size and it's another card that enables TDroar and TDhawk under Lancea.
In the playlist, I play Fiendsmith before Maliss release, changed to pure ThunDra Bystial to experiment with hand traps and endup moving to the list I submitted for reaching M5. experimented with other lists but end climbing Masters only with this exactly list.
The first video with this list is part 20 which should be live on yt on the 19th by the end of the in-game day.
Replays
I always share replays in MD, most of the duels are either wierd hands, trick situations or cool interactions. Check my profile (817-429-458) I always try to add new replays.
