Notes & Combos
Maliss is on another planet. But honestly, the format feels depressing. Mini-game after mini-game...
If no ht, it’s almost impossible to keep up with boards + follow-up. Some of the answers I found, thanks to orher builds shared on Master Duel Meta:
• Triple Tactics Talents : punishes mini-games or helps push through established boards
• Super Polymerization : great board breaker, especially in the mirror thanks to Golem
• Fuwa : really solid in this build, works as a discard for Super Poly, can give you an extra interaction, or just force your opponent into a weaker board
• No Imperm or Lancea: I barely missed Imperm, it just doesn’t do enough in most situations. As for Lancea, it’s a brick against a lot of decks and doesn’t always show up against Maliss or Crystron. Plus, I wanted to learn how to play against Maliss, so Lancea felt useless in that context.
The previous iteration of the deck, especially the one with Allure, was very strong going first, but got hard-countered by Lancea, Chaos Hunter, Maxx C, Impulse, well-timed Bystials, etc. Overall going second, It felt weaker.
With these tweaks, it felt way more balanced and consistent no matter the coin toss.
