With the arrival of Master Duel 4th Anniversary comes a new challenge. The past couple of years I challenge myself to reach top rank with every deck featured in Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains and even though it was hard at times it was enjoyable completing the journey. But now I think it is time to start a new journey. I'm happy to announce...

WELCOME TO THE 5D'S SAGA!

Many people associate Yusei with his Stardust Dragon but he did have a ace monster before that which was Junk Warrior. With the addition of Junk Warrior Extreme that came from the new selection pack it was only fitting to start off my journey with a junk warrior otk deck. Because we are a otk deck we are going second for a majority of the duels and hopefully drawing the right amount of board breakers and hand traps against our opponent.

Main Deck

For combos I will save that for the twitch vod as I will take the time to talk about some specific cards in the deck. Junk Meister to me is a 3 of since it is both a starter and extender but if you are on a budget you can get away with 2. If you have revolution synchron in hand you can then make Black Rose Dragon with Junk Meister to help wipe away your opponent's board or make them waste a negate on it so you can do your proper play. Anchorbolt Hedgehog and Crossroad Sonic Chick are not needed at all but to those who are new you should know that I rarely play optimize anyways. Finally Scrap Fist can be played at one since it helps give piercing damage to your junk warrior so even if your opponent have a field of monsters in defense you can still otk through that.

Extra Deck

As for the extra deck a lot of the synchros are optional. If you want the bear minimum definitely having crystal wing synchro dragon and baronne help with negates to help otk. Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon and Stardust Dragon help go into the baronne. Scrap warrior helps gain a negate for your junk speeder and finally junk warrior extreme and junk warrior are needed for the otk. Needing only 8 slots in the extra deck feel free to add whatever else you think will be better for you.

Conclusion

Overall, a fun deck to use on the ladder that can compete with the 3 most popular decks on the ladder right now. The deck has the ability to play through different hand traps like droll,maxx c, fuwalos, and even nibiru. Just make sure when you attack with junk warrior to say Scrap Fist and say it even louder if you activate the quick play spell.
