Gold Pride P.U.N.K. list I used to climb up to Master 1:

Very similar list to the one I played last season. Only a few changes I will point out later. Also I haven't forgotten the guide video I promised, I simply took longer than expected but it should be almost finished.

The main gameplan is to do your basic P.U.N.K combo to bait out negates while drawing cards and get access to the trap. once finished you overlay the two level 3s on the field to go into Charriot Carrie and do your Gold Pride plays from there. If you have a level 3 GP in your hand already and / or have additional P.U.N.K. monsters in hand you can bring back a level 8 from the graveyard instead to go into Photon Lord and protect yourself from a Nibiru.

Here some additional notes:

  • Omega is a highly underrated card for this deck. It's really useful in the graveyard to shuffle followup back into the deck but is also good for simpler gamestates.

  • I only play 1 copy of the extra deck GP monsters because they shuffle back into the ED. You can argue that a second Charriot is good in case you lose the first one but I think that you would lose most of those games anyways.

  • Try to always play with Droll in mind. This deck suffers hard from it so try to recognize what search should get your top priority if you don't have Called By / Crossout.

  • Overal happy with the ratios but I definitely miss not having backrow removal like Duster. You could swap it with Nib if you prefer.

  • Ghost Ogre is really good against SHS but if the format doesn't need it anymore you can swap it with Psychic Tracker which is a good alt search for Dragon Drive.

Notes about the changes:

  • I replaced Droll with Gamma and added Baronne. I know Droll is really good rn but I just don't like playing it and Gamma is also too good to pass on. It also gives you access to Baronne through E. Tele and helps you unbrick your hands if you manage to bait out the opponent.

  • I really really REALLY like TTT but the list is just too thight to include it and I think having more handtraps is way more valuable rn. Dus I'm playing Imperm but I can definitely see changing back.
