Notes & Combos

This rank is for the december 2023 season.

Dragon Link is sooooooo good a deck that it enables some1 so novel like me to actually climb with it all the way up. My rank is less solid since it was literally a last minute win (only 2 minutes before the deadline of season 24) and most of my master rank games happened in the last 2-3 days before the end of the season.

I am grateful to all those who shared their decks, videos, and tutorial opinions on this deck type, which are my main source of learning. I can't believe that with a deck I just finished building about a week ago I could reach the master rank!

I think my inclusions are pretty standard, save the following niches:

-I don't like running full maxx c because of the ur cost and I find 2 copies are okay (I'm so thrift on gems and ur dusts that I didn't make my 3rd copy of ash after I reached diamond 1)

-I love etude of the branded and it won me some games, also works fine with tracer to potentially get BDF or another synchro boss on the next turn. A big shoutout to Lightdragon for his videos of dragon likn game play with dis pater and etude!

-pretty much I was compelled to play this deck for dis pater, but in my climb it came up less frequently and hadn't halped as much as I dreamed of, which is a shame, the same with levaineer but I do see why these are good

-I don't play chaos ruler because I don't want to spend, and maybe I'm wrong I don't see it adding that much to the dragon link build (personally my favorite thing about this card is that it can easily bring in the option of red dragon archfiend abyss).

A little thought on gamma: it's so freaking good to open with it when going 1st, and it could allow for some pretty greedy plays. I'm really hoping that I could run acel stardust to get straight to BDF after resolving gamma but the extra deck is just too tight, so please can any1 share some opinions on this please?

Anyways I really admire they way this deck functions, and I plan on keep playing it after the revised banlist. Please could any1 share some thoughts of how dragon link ought to keep on without wyver? thx!
