Notes & Combos
Notes: (updated on 19/08/2025)
- I play 18 handtraps. I like board breakers too, but I still prefer handtraps and consistency cards, that's why i play 2 copies of ascension instead of more handtraps or copies of books/ultimate slayer/ metaltronus etc.
- "TTT": Best tech in my opinion. It's marvelous to use going 1st or 2nd. 1 copy is enough though.
- "Droll": Great tech versus most decks in general and also wonderful in the mirror. I play only one copy though, it's in the build especially to be used as a crossout target too. Same logic applies purulia and nibiru.
- "Fuwalos": Wonderful card versus a lot of decks when going 2nd.
- "Ascension": I hate opening without a play. Losing by going 2nd is acceptable to me. Losing by going 1st and bricking is something I can't stand at all. So, 2 ascension is a must. If you don't have the UR dust, i suggest you play 2 copies of small world instead.
- The 2 copies of aggregator are very nice, I missed the second copy so much in any duel that lasted more than 2 turns.
- "TY-PHON": I don't really like it. It's in here just to be summoned in late games in simplified states, can be replaced by any other card you prefer. Common choices are lancer, zeus, ignister, asophiel etc.
- "Plasma hole": bricky card and not powerful enough to be present in the build.
