Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes about the climb

Overall climb went really smoothly, not much to complain about, it had a little more deck diversity compared to last season with Rescue Ace, Lab and Kashtira becoming more prominent in match-ups I have faced outside of Snake-Eyes.

Card Choices

Forbidden Droplet

  • In my opinion one of the better going second cards in the meta it works well against Snake-Eyes and can chain block or negate the Lab monsters or even just be used to negate cards going first.

Two Triple Tactics Talent

  • I run it at two because it is a really good card with the amount of hand traps decks are running right now but I refuse to run this card at three because it will be stuck to my hand.

Rivalry of Warlords

  • Really good card, the key is to wait till your opponent would be locked or lose a lot of resources then flip it up.

Why 46 Cards

  • Since I want to see Sunseed Twin in my hand as little as possible and yet somehow I managed to see it in hand 3 out of my last 5 games.

Endnotes

All in all the climb was quite easy. This season M3 gave me a bit of trouble with how many stun decks it has but nothing was too difficult. Rikka is a really fun deck which does not rely on extra deck generics which is something I really like.
