Notes & Combos
Wasn't a fan of the Kashtira engine, so this is mostly inspired by Laus & KRAK3N's lists. My build is meant to take full advantage of all Scareclaw cards to its fullest potential:
- Fenrir searches the 1-of Scarekash and itself, that's all I needed. Also least potential of Scarekash in hand going 1st.
- Adventure engine does it all. Free 2 special summons, big negate, spin 2, handtrap bait, Reichheart draw maker.
- Bystial engine to protect against past meta decks. Even if your opponent doesn't have the correct monsters, it makes use of a dead Reichheart for added interruption.
- Magicians' Souls to recycle dead cards for more draws. Fancy to gamba for that Imperm or handtrap?
- A staple focus on monster steal. OUR Fenrir, search Scarekash, slap a Big Eye, steal another or bait if you have Enemy Controller. Have I mentioned that card stops Happiness OTKs too?
- Thrust going 2nd is lit.
It goes extremely hard if you have access to all 5 engines at once: even Mikanko ain't gonna stop you with a Lava Golem. Has under-Maxx C lines too, with or without Thrust. I added Sclash for better grind game potential.
A good Labyrnth or Mikanko player will still eat me alive, so best to practise going 2nd with this deck more often.
