Notes & Combos

For combos, refer to SunseedJess's video on it, this is basically the same list.

The idea of this deck: you can bridge from plant link combo to mitsurugi by summoning Talismandra via Lonefire and you can bridge from mitsurugi to plants via 2 level 4's into Pinguicula.

This deck bricks (15 cards you dont want to draw vs. 22 one-card-starters), which is why my final list played a low amount of handtraps to increase my chance of drawing starters. You can play this list with a lower ceiling and brick less, by removing (ordered by least to highest Importance):

• Hunting Dance (remove Mantis Monk aswell)
• Cactus Bouncer
• Sunseed Twin (hurts to loose, but drawing it is worse than other bricks since it messes with sowing)
• Mirror (and 3x Pre-Prep)
• Rikka Princess (Strenna can still be useful in rare cases, even without Princess)

For cards to add, even more starters (up to 60 cards) would be nice, but other than aramasa (meh) and one for one (-2 if ashed), i couldnt find good ones. There is lots of space in the extra for cards to add, but Plants need another extra deck endboard piece alongside Benghalancer, atm you are just wasting bodies to free up space in many lines. The other raika cards or maybe an S:P/TY-PHON are worth a thought here, but ofc unplayable after sowing is played.

Duelist Cup was pretty smooth sailing, dracotail is very beatable going first, going second not so much. Only thing i would change is add 3 Retaliating "C", just because of current meta.
