Let's be clear, the deck is bad, its Ryu-Ge. The only place to play this pile is events. How the archetype released in 2024 have only 2 real starters, no extenders, while all other cards are either bricks or a hard garnet (curse you Emva)?
To make this even remotely playable you need to cram every possible searcher of Mistva (who can be ashed, ogred, droll also kills it):
- Manju x2
- Melody x2
- War zone x3 (with carboneddon & justicia package, another 2 bricks)
With Mistva and Rising it's a total of 13 starters, highest chance to open exactly one (~42,46%) while opening at least one is decent enough (~71,9%).
Best part of the deck, that honestly doesn't need Ryu-Ge, is SwoSwo Tenyi. You can play the minimal amount of Taia, Longyuan, Vishuda, Adhara, since they're searchable by Ryu-Ge line, but Ryu-Ge sucks, so I want to draw the better wyrms.
The rest is non engine. Triyng to pack the most impact ones, no one for one handtraps except ash, no charmies cuz I'm not swapping every time I get a monster by the event.
The art and ryu(dragon) adjacent typings of Ryu-Ge are so cool, I want to summon this big bunguses, good thing events exists. To bad they're unplayable otherwise.
