Notes & Combos
At last my favorite deck gets the boost it sorely needed! And they finally gave us the Madolche Chateau field at the same time, I couldn't be happier.
The amount of flexibility the Vernusylphs gives Madolche is worth the risk of going -2 thanks to an Ash Blossom. They give you alternative ways to reach your full combo. You won't have to worry as much about handtraps shutting off Pettingcessouer for instance. They also let you make generic rank 4s before commiting to your main Madolche line, which is how you make Abyss Dweller.
Here are some of the unique benefits each of the Vernusylphs in this list have to offer
Flourishing Hills: This one is admittedly not as good as the others since you need to discard a monster to search and another monster to use the Vernusylph you searched, but the revival effect is still pretty good. You can cut this for Small World or Madolche Magiliene. Maybe make space for a third Hootcake too if you want.
Awakening Forests: You use this to dump Maxx C or Keldo/Mudora if you already have it in hand. The reason being Glassoufle, since her shuffling effect lets you add Maxx C to your hand with Chateau active.
Misting Seedlings: This one has the most important duty of adding an Earth Fairy to your hand. You typically want to get Madolche Anjelly with this effect.
Keldo and Mudora have multiple jobs. Most importantly is how they disrupt the opponents grave and send their puny mermaids back home crying. They also enable and extend your combos. They can also clean up your graveyard for you to allow you to special summon Pettingcessouer from the hand.
Keep in mind that Keldo and Mudora will not work with chateau but will trigger Chocolat a la Mode with regular Puddingcess attached since she doesn't care how your monsters get shuffled back. If they try to remove a la Mode's shuffle target with something like D.D Crow or Called by the Grave, just know that even if you shuffle it back with Keldo/Mudora in the same chain, your Choco girl will miss timing for her summon effect. I've been playing this deck for over a year now and only now just realize she has a "when" effect.
