This deck abuses the fact that there is not a single person on Earth who has read The Golden Castle of Stromberg. Many times I've had people attack, have their monster destroyed, and then hit the surrender button.

Gren Maju is always a good pair with stromberg thanks to the banishing and the adventure engine is handy for baiting out ash so you can resolve Glife. Also returning cards with Illegal Knight is basically enough disruption in this format (also deals with paleo decks).

The deck plays through Flying C pretty well thanks to normal summon gren maju being a play, and you can also just destroy it with Hexe Trude. That said, it's unlikely you'll be XYZ summoning anyway, so why not just keep it for the extra 700 damage?

In a format where terraforming is banned, Glife being basically terraforming on a monster is pretty nice. Hence why I'm running it at 3 instead of the usual 2.

Rest is generic good stuff. I tossed up adding in Ultimate Slayer but in the end decided the extra Kaijuus were more valuable since you can bounce them to hand with dracoback / illegal knight for multiple uses.

The extra deck is a bunch of monsters I had that this deck can theoretically make, but I never have made any of them. You can do a numeron dragon OTK if you really feel like it, but I didn't own one. Also Alpha Master of Beasts would be in the deck if I had any.
