I've always wanted to try this variant even if it is not considered the best. After playing Synchro SPYRAL for the past few seasons I found that I really missed link boards and so I wanted to try a variant that was more link focused. With Halq being banned I found the perfect chance :) Differences from this and the d5 version is the addition of dugares + grepher to turn on an additional combo line with 2 lvl 4s to either draw or summon plan from gy since I personally LOVE duggie combos!

Endboard is typically: Simorgh, Apex, Apollousa, Gryphon, Sleeper, and Harpie's Feather Storm searched off Curious/Gryphon for the lingering Skill Drain/Dark Ruler No More if your board is outed! Very degenerate, but I'm a combo player that likes to play floodgate payoffs in general because they put less pressure on your board. Harpie's Feather Storm may seem somewhat redundant with Apo, but it ensures that if your board is outed, your opponent in most cases will not be able to play and buy you a turn. So while I first slotted it because it was something of a meme, it turned out to be really fun watching people activate cards, do nothing and scoop.

You can also easily fit union carrier + buster lock or play the infinite negate version with Mist Valley Thunderbird. If you mill Apex off of the effect of Curious, shuffle it back in the end phase with SPYRAL Resort, then search it with Simorgh in the end phase.
