Notes & Combos

Before you ask... yes I wasted like 30k+ gems (honestly lost the count), building this deck. Please don't remind me of my decisions...

Reached Dlv. Max with this "Watt" deck. Watts can be played like a trash Tenpai. They deal about 4800 direct damage and lack any protection or spells to help this gameplan. All your effects activate during damage step so I guess that's neat? Few cards can negate your effects.

So to supplement our OTK potential we play 𝖺̶ 𝖻̶𝗎̶𝗇̶𝖼̶𝗁̶ 𝗈̶𝖿̶ 𝗌̶𝗅̶𝗈̶𝗉̶ 𝖻̶𝖾̶𝖼̶𝖺̶𝗎̶𝗌̶𝖾̶ 𝗈̶𝗍̶𝗁̶𝖾̶𝗋̶𝗐̶𝗂̶𝗌̶𝖾̶ 𝗍̶𝗁̶𝗂̶𝗌̶ 𝖽̶𝖾̶𝖼̶𝗄̶ 𝗌̶𝗎̶𝖼̶𝗄̶𝗌̶ engines that help with damage. FS is absolutely essential, they deal piercing damage with Agnumday, Eff damage with Lacrima and easily summon Wollow to boost Watts, with only 5 cards in opp's GY, Wollow enables a Watt OTK.

Shining Sarc is essential offering a board breaker, protection with Dragoon and also bridge into Watts via The Zombie Vampire. They can do all that with a single Apprentice if not interrupted.

Finally Visions with a bunch of board breaking quick-spells to help going second and having gas. Watttrain is an awful search spell that requires Reprodocus to work. There are neat combos like how 3 bodies can do Lacrima + Agnumday and Cobra searched via Watttrain + Repdoducus. But I assume no sane person will play this so I won't even bother.

Anyway that was the list until level 19 then I got stuck, I deranked 3 times, almost reached lvl 17 2 times. Eventually I went insane and decided to use o̴m̴e̴g̴a̴ s̴l̴o̴p̴ l̴e̴v̴e̴l̴s̴ another engine to supplement our damage. Watts can elegantly bridge into Tenpai with their combo by banishing Blaster with Watthydra so they have actual synergy, it's not just added slop (not coping here).

It's so funny how this 60 pile feels more consistent than the original 40 decklist. Somehow Wattcobra is always in my hand, I guess he loves me. Ratios need tweaking but that was good enough for Dlv Max.

There are purer Watt versions with the Spring field spell which by itself enables a Watt OTK, but Konami banned all decent searchers. Maybe when Pot of Sloth arrives the pure version will be playable.

Anyway it's almost 6 AM where I live and I'm regreting my life decisions, so I guess it's time to catch the Watttrain to dreamland and rest.
