Notes & Combos
Sky Striker Tenpai is in an excellent spot in this current meta. As a blind-second deck, you also have the psychological advantage almost every coinflip as your opponent will almost always pick you to go second.
This deck has an excellent matchup against Snake-Eye Fiendsmith and Fiendsmith Control - you can pick apart their endboards with relative ease.
Each game is like a puzzle and you must use the pieces you draw to solve each board. Be sure to get maximum value out of forbidden droplet. I made many plays into Desirae or Drillbeam where I would use a spell card, they would chain a negate, then I would droplet my initial spell to dodge their negate.
So many decks in this meta abuse the graveyward that Shifter will many times guarantee a win. As long as you have 1 Tenpai starter card in hand before using it, you will be fine to play without a graveyard. I lost three too many games to Number 67: Pair-a-Dice Smasher in Memento, so I added in an Imperm to deal with that - but the added flexibility it offered me was great. It can be used first on turn 2, or on turn 1 you can stop your opponent extending too far. Red Reboot can secure some wins on its own.
Added a change of heart late into the grind and I do not regret it. Sometimes clutch.
