Notes & Combos
Relatively easy and fun climb to Max this time around. I managed about a 70-80 percent win rate throughout the entire event. The deck feels comfortable at 49 cards due to the 12 ways that the deck has to get to Mistva, but will struggle to play into established boards going second if they know where to interrupt. This lead to me simply throwing in more handtraps which either prevent their full combo (draw HTs) or lead to them having a lesser board (Nib). Ogre is nice due to the synergy it has with Mistva and the trouble this deck has with backrow removal (mainly against Crystron and BEWD). This deck highly excels at picking apart half boards to end games quickly.
In terms of deck strategy, it is actually a bit more complicated when most would assume. Properly setting up your interactions will be the difference between zero grind game and what is actually a very decent one. This resource management is displayed in the replays that I have up. Knowing the proper timing to use End/Ogre/Rivalry, as well as what to shuffle back is often the difference between a win or a loss. A key example would be knowing to wait on those monster pops for your opponent to play into the summoning of one of your 3 legendary Pokemon, should they clear your board. Knowing that you have Hakva in banishment and that you still have Wyrm Winds means that you will be able to summon him should they play into it, which means that you can wait on that before popping something so that you can resummon Mistva on their turn for backup plays. You want to make the concious effort to know you are positioning your monsters correctly so that you can rebound from thier interactions. Being able to resolve both field spell effects a second time in a duel has been the difference maker throughout my climb, and it only happens if you understand what needs to be back in the deck/grave/banishment at what time for it to work.

I currently have 3 decent replays up from the WCQ climb, and intend to add more from my Masters climb. It's kinda hard to display the grindy nature of the deck properly since it ends games relatively quickly for a mid-range deck, but it think these replays show a good amount of the tools you have at your disposal. I hope you enjoy the deck!
