Notes & Combos

So this is the P.U.N.K. Tearlaments build that got me to DLv Max in the WCS. I really enjoy the P.U.N.K. engine because its 9 mills just by itself (+ without a normal summon if you use ETele). You are allways trying to get to your P.U.N.K. cards at first, and then do the Tear plays. The other upside of the P.U.N.K. engine is that Foxy Tune sends to grave as effect, not as cost, so even your downside of the engine can get your Tear, Ishizu or the Bridge of Salvation play started. Speaking of the Bridge of Salvation it has been doing extremely well for me, the Turtle often isn't a brick because I never use the field spell to start my plays with Rihno, it is more often an extender to get Sheiren or Havnis for another distruption on the opponents turn (+the field spell is a distruption on its own). Gamma is the butter of the deck, you get 5 free mills if you trigger it on your turn, but is also really helpful when milled because it can make Baronne with Chaos Ruler for a free omni. Masq, Unicorn and Dugares are flex spots, you can replace them with the zoodiac engine which i have been testing a bit and might even add to the deck. The deck is really consistent, and puts up amazing turn one boards (Baronne, Elf + Sulliek, Rulkalos, Dweller/Drident/Masq, double to triple Snow, and the field spell. Overall I'm extremly satisfied with this deck and i don't know why more people aren't abusing Chaos Ruler while its legal. It has definite place for improvement so try testing it if you have the dust or cards its extremely fun if you are sick of the same Tear plays every game; this adds insane spice.
