Notes & Combos

Pretty easy to climb with Tearlaments unlike my previous attempt with budget Salamangreat where the climb was treacherous. Luckily, I saved a lot of gems in my gift box, so I got most the SRs/URs from the Blessings of Nature selection pack, Sprites of Miracle selection pack, or the one-time bundles. If I were willing to invest more SR/URs into this, I would add more Impermanence.

The choices of cards are relatively straightforward. I did opt for uncommon choices like Nibiru and Heartbeat because I was not willing to use more UR crafting material for other cards like Impermanence or Triple Tactics Talent. With this current iteration of Tearlament with the current banlist and release of cards, Tearlament is simply too strong for stage 1. As long as you understand the various choices and have intent with your plays, Tearlament decks should be able to get to stage 2 in under 50 duels if not sooner. Even with all the Tearlament anti-meta in DL 19, Tearlament have answers to those tech choices.

Even though I have Mud Dragon, I have yet to find the use for it. I have used every other card in my Extra Deck at least once during my climb.
