I reached Master 1 in Season 54 with Vaylantz Performapal.

With the addition of the new card The Fallen & The Virtuous, I started getting my going-first boards broken more often by decks I was already weak against, such as Sky Striker and Radiant Typhoon.

I tried cards like the Link Monster Georgius and Herald of the Arc Light, but my win rate with them wasn’t very good.

Because of that, I decided to try playing The Fallen & The Virtuous in my own deck, and it performed better than I expected, both going first and going second.

The deck already had about two or three open Extra Deck slots, so it fit in pretty naturally.

I also tried playing ME-PSY-YA as a countermeasure against Forbidden Droplet.

Since decks like Sky Striker and Radiant Typhoon often play Forbidden Droplet, and their hands are frequently filled with Spell Cards, I think ME-PSY-YA’s Pendulum Effect is fairly effective against them.

ヴァリアンツ EM デッキで、シーズン54、マスター1 達成しました

新規カードのヴァーチャスが追加されたことで、元々苦手な閃刀姫、絢嵐に先攻盤面を捲られる機会が多くなりました。 リンク体のゲオルギアスやアークデクレアラーも試してみましたが、勝率は芳しくありませんでした

そのため、自身のデッキにもヴァーチャスを入れてみたところ、 これは思っていたよりも先攻後攻共に活躍しました。 EX枠も元から２，３枠空くためちょうどよかったです

また一滴対策として ME-PSY-YA を採用してみました。 一滴が多く採用されている閃刀姫、絢嵐は手札が魔法で埋め尽くされていることも多いと思うので、 このカードのP効果はまあまあ効いてると考えています
