Notes & Combos

I reached 1600 rating in Season 44 using a Vaylantz Performapal deck. I felt like I could have gone higher if I kept pushing, but I decided to stop here for now.

For the final board, I usually aim for the Gryphon route, but depending on how the opponent reacts during the combo (chain response timing/lag), I sometimes switch to the Apollousa route instead. Both lines are built with Super Polymerization in mind, so I avoid placing monsters with the same Attribute, or combinations like Arktos and DARK monsters together. If the opponent uses draw-based hand traps, I opt to end on Silhouhatte and try to hold the turn with additional hand traps.

• Apollousa Route: Arktos + Apollousa + Silhouhatte + Lars (+ Saion), Valet

With Ryzeal now in the format, I cut Artifact Lancea and increased the number of Droll. I'm currently running 2 Impulse to keep the total number of hand traps at 13. Compared to other meta decks, Vaylantz has fewer starters, so I feel that removing any more Pendulum monsters would hurt the deck’s ability to combo.

I’m running 2 Shinra as Field Spells. I used to play 2 Konig, but there were situations where I couldn’t destroy it during a weaker combo, and the opponent would activate their own Field Spell and benefit from its effect—so I decided to cut Konig down to 1.

I'm running 1 copy of Beyond and 2 copies of Exceed. There were times when I got hit by Nibiru right after summoning Exceed and didn’t know how to rebuild—so I decided to add a second Exceed to recover in those cases. There are of course times where running only 1 Beyond becomes an issue, but considering which situations are least likely to occur overall, I’ve decided to stick with just 1 copy of Beyond for now.

ヴァリアンツ EM デッキで、シーズン44、レート 1600 達成しました 頑張ればまだ上を目指せそうでしたが、一度ここで止めておきます

最終盤面は、グリフォンルートを目指し、相手のチェーン反応のラグに合わせて、アポロウーサルートに切り替えるか選択します どちらも超融合ケアで、同じ属性のモンスターや、アルクトスと闇属性を並べることを控えています ドロー系誘発を打たれた場合はトップハットを立てて、誘発と共に凌ぎます

• グリフォンルート：アルクトス＋ゴブリン＋グリフォン＋ラーズ（＋西園）、バレット
• アポロウーサルート：アルクトス＋アポロウーサ＋トップハット＋ラーズ（＋西園）、バレット

ライゼオルが登場したため、ロンギヌスを抜いて、ドロールを増やしました インパルスが2枚となっていますが、これは誘発枚数を13枚に収めたかったためです ヴァリアンツは環境デッキと比較した場合、初動枚数が少なく、これ以上ペンデュラムモンスターを抜くと展開に支障があると感じています

真羅を2枚にしました ケーニッヒ2枚の場合、自分フィールドにケーニッヒが展開されていることが多くなりますが、 妥協展開等でケーニッヒを割れなかった場合、相手にフィールド魔法を貼られて 効果を利用されてしまうことが数度あったためです

ビヨンドは1枚、エクシードは2枚としました エクシード召喚後にニビルを落とされた場合に、盤面構築をどうするか迷ったため、2枚目のエクシードで立て直すことにしました ビヨンド1枚で困ることはもちろんありますが、どのケースが最も発生しづらいかを考えた時、 現在はビヨンド1枚にするという決断を下しています
