Notes & Combos

Pure Melffy was surprisingly good even without Merry Melffys (shoutout Vulcan for being an adecuate replacement).

• Prioritized Naturia Beast when posible due to the insane amount of Lyrilusc OTK I ended up facing.
• The Greater Polymerization + Chimera package is definilely win more, however with the amount of trimming done with the Melffy plays I ended up seeing it more often than not.
• Hop Ear or Pinny + Wally access enables the Locusts line which is a negate (Hastorr), a hand rip (Locusts), plus a big body that can attack twice (Hama).

One card combos:

Obedience Schooled is the card you want to see the most since it sets up up to 4 interruptions by itself.

1. Activate to special summon Kalantosa, Wally and Kittytail from deck.
2. Overlay into Joyous Melffys.
3. On the opponents turn, tag out Joyous Melffys to summon:

• Kalantosa for a targeting pop.
• Wally for typical Melffy plays (Catty to add Pinny or Hop Ear for Synchro plays / any beast for follow-up, Puppy for an additional Kalantosa, or Pony to fetch a level 2 beast from GY, depending on hand / GY).
• Kittytail to send Cerperus for an additional pop if you take damage.

Nimble Beaver or Rescue Cat can also set an adecuate number of interrutions by themselves.

1. Normal Summon Beaver and use its effect to Special Summon another Beaver from deck (1) or Normal Summon Rescue Cat and activate its effect to send to GY and Special Summon 2 level 2 Beasts from deck.
2. Overlay into Melffy of the Forest and activate effect to detatch a material to add Wally to hand.
3. On the End Phase Special Summon Wally from hand.
