Notes & Combos

so i made the silly decision to play a new deck this season. Regenesis was okay. It definitely has an anti-meta flair, and in many ways it reminds me of horus without the slop.

i tried many approaches: most of the main deck cards are good. I won a lot of games with birth, even against Maliss. However, archfiend was a massive imperm target. I crafted regenesis lord in d1. It seemed okay as a plan b and OTK enabler.

Dogmatika: The package just felt solid. I was running Fleur without punishment, but something i quickly learned is that this deck is sticky and has negates, but simple removal was lacking a bit.

Bystials: Theyre good and they give board presence. I was running lubellion because regained is amazing into maliss, but they werent helping me going second.

Evenly is ***. Super poly was okay, but be careful of the lock from code.

Kashtira: its okay going first, but i think its ability to go second is cope at best.

Diabelstar: quite amazing. Specifically rciela. This gave me the removal I desperately wanted on the opp's turn. I'd like to pursue this angle further.

Lancea/chaos hunter: Maliss is everywhere, you either run these or prioritize going first and pray.

Dragon's mind was very cool but I ended up dropping it because it wasnt helping enough going second. I resisted tcboo and skill drain for the longest time, but in D1 I caved. Maliss is just so unreal. Shrug.
