Notes & Combos
At first I went for a going 1st list for my Diamond climb. The new support makes going 1st more appealing now because Twinsaw is basically a mini Scareclaw Blackout that also doesn't Dragon Link play the game.
But after some ups and downs through Diamond tiers, I decided to switch to blind 2nd. Thrust is a godsend for going second which basically reads "Ash this or your board is gone".
Gamma into Omega for a handrip came up exactly once so I might swap them for Ash or Droll. The same could be said for Kurikara but that's probably only because I only have one so there were many hands where she wasn't there.
Dogoran is my replacement for a 2nd Kurikara, while Herald of the Abyss is one of the best Thrust targets this format.
Twinsaw is still there as contingency plan for Maxx C, normal summon Reichheart, fetch and set Twinsaw pass while my opponent goes -1 has come up a few times.
Most of the Extra Deck's tech choices weren't used too often, though Aussa and Arise-Heart deserve special mention for stealing opponent's Fenrirs and wiping up entire Kashtira boards when my opponents can't resist the yellow button glowing on Shangri during my standby phase, respectively. Everything else was good in theory but never really came up more than once or twice, if ever. I'd probably add a third Tri-Heart if I had it over any of those other choices.
This deck was inspired by both Wings and Michael's lists, which they shared in the Scareclaw channel, so big shoutout to them and the rest of the guys over there for their input.
