Notes & Combos

Scareclaw deck was a decently competent deck before the new wave of support and is now a borderline tier 3 deck with twinsaw and defanging.

First thing first, the adventure engine. Most people when playing the scarclaw deck are excluding this engine from the deck entirely and while I do understand their reasoning, with book of moon being a big counter to this deck and being so popular in this meta, the adventure engine serves as a blanket of protection. Ultimately, it is a personal preference and I really do see Kashtira package including birth and unicorn being better adventure in many senarios, I am sick of using kashtira personally so I chose adventure with omni negate from griffin.

As for the new supports for Scareclaw, twinsaw in just a all-round cookie-cutter good trap that target removes two cards and while the secodary effect in the GY is rarely useful in this meta as I can't think of a meta link deck right now, it is still nice to have (I did beat a marinecess deck with this effect once). As for defanging, I have ZERO idea why almost nobody plays this card. Without Tri-heart on the field, you might as well surrender with this deck and defanging as an excellent protection for Tri-heart. I understand Reicheart needs to search for arrival most of the time but that does not mean defanging is a burden in the deck, far from it from what my experience is with this deck.

Sclash is also a card I barely see people use in their decks but it is an in-archetype omni negate!!! I highly recommend this card and REMEBER TO FLIP THIS UP ASAP ON YOUR OPPONENT'S TURN. It's omni negate does not activate on card activation so you need to flip it up first in order to negate on a seperate chain link.

The rest are just standard scareclaw combo, nothing special. Feel free to ask me questions about this deck.
