I'm Maximus Duel.
To be honest, sometimes it’s not even worth trying to go second if the opponent opens too strongly — most of the time we just won’t be able to break their board. I did reach Master 5 about a week ago, but it still takes a lot of dedication and time to keep climbing.
I used this deck to reach Master 1 in previous seasons, but the recent bans have definitely hurt it, and the current format doesn’t really favor it. Even so, it’s still a really fun deck to play.
This is how the deck looks after significant generic bans.
We no longer have generic protection against Nibiru, however, with some skillful play, we can turbo-cast Varudras on the 5th summon.
Pachy is our go-ahead option when we go first and face C Max/Fuwalos.
Bystials are very good in this format, as is Fuwalos. Rabbit is our replacement for Apollousa and also a good tool under lock and key.
