Notes & Combos

Really short and sweet combo guide (provided there are no interruptions from your opponent): Summon White and set your Field Spell. This dodges Droll because it isn’t added to the hand.

Use the Field Spell to add either Yellow or Red.

Summon Yellow or Red and go to Battle Phase.

Attack with White. Use Yellow to summon Red, or Red to summon Green, then attack twice.

Use Red’s effect to Synchro Summon Bident using either Green or White. Use Bident’s effect to bring back White or Green.

Attack with anything, then Synchro Summon Transcendent.

Bring back Bident, then use the remaining White or Green to Synchro into Trident. Pop the Field Spell and/or Transcendent if needed. This gives you 6000 ATK and 3 attacks, which is typically game.

interruptions and board breakers for thetop decks are as follows.

Book of Moon is surprisingly one of your best board breakers. If it doesn’t hit your opponent, they either need to waste a negate or it baits out an Ash.

Gordian Slicer is another great board breaker. People always try to negate this card, but it can’t be negated. If you used Maxx "C" or Fuwalos last turn, you can easily clear your opponent’s board. While this card can’t be negated, they can still activate their effects.

For decks like Kewl Tune, your best cards are Shifter and occasionally Retaliating "C" if they use something like Synchro Overtake or Kewl Tune Synchro. Otherwise, this card can just be a brick.

For decks like K9, your best card is Book of Moon. Try to bait out K9 Forced Release, then Book of Moon them. This causes the card to miss timing and it’s GG 99% of the time.

Elfnote can be a bit harder. I typically like to Ash or Imperm Regina, and most of the time they end on a much weaker board. Depending on what’s summoned, Book of Moon can solve it.

For your Sky Striker matchup, either D. Shifter or Retaliating "C" makes it an easy game. Alternatively, Duster or Heavy Storm their back row and it becomes an easy win.

I don’t recall ever running into a Magnet Warrior deck lol.

Radiant Typhoon can be dangerous if they run Harpie’s Feather Storm. If you don’t have Red Reboot in hand, just surrender — it’s quicker. However, if they don’t have it, Duster or Storm their back row and it’s an easy win.

Exosister feels very 50/50 for me. They can easily avoid cards like Imperm. If Kermael is on field, it makes Book of Moon harder to use on them. Their traps can also put up a new Exosister and force you to banish a card from your Graveyard, letting them Xyz Summon.
