Diamond escapee with Ghost Reaper Mikanko.

This deck sucks, go look at another list and run more board breakers.

You would change your extra deck list based on what you're seeing in your games but when I was queing in Diamond 1/2 at 2 am it was the same 3 people with the same 3 decks:

VSK9

It's kinda meh against VSK9 since even if you banish Ripper, they'll still pop your equip spells with Caesar or take your monsters with Hollie Sue.

But I feel like VSK9 is too hard and lot of people don't play it right.

SKY STRIKER

I usually banish Zero when against Sky Striker but maybe Kagari is better.

You would want a lightning storm or feather duster in your hand ideally.

KEWL TUNE

I got most of my dopamine against Kewl Tune.

All Kewl Tune players are the same one person with the same one plan:

Make Track Maker with Rotary and resolve both.

So on their first summon if you manage to resolve Ghost Reaper and banish their Track Maker it becomes a lot more annoying for them to use Rotary, since afterwards the only way they can use her now is with an extra body to summon a 5+ level synchro.

So they either opt out of synchro-ing with her, which takes away Rotary’s Kewl Tunes spell/hand knowledge, or if they do, it happens later in the combo and hopefully their board is less optimized.

And they dont get whatever they would have drawn with Track Maker (probably KT Synchro or JJ Kewl Tunes)

Coincidentally, Track Maker is their only in engine-out to Huli+Equip spell as their sole non-targeted bounce, and the only way they bring it back is with B2B’s conditional effect.

So assuming they don't have anything non-standard and you manage to play through their interactions to get Huli on board, you can just sit there and win as long as you don’t activate a monster effect.

But if they chain Kewl Tune Syncrho/ Called By from hand and get Track Maker out anyways then everything above is moot.

All in all, I think this deck is subpar compared to a more traditional Mikanko list; the Extra Deck is giga expensive, you usually sit there praying they don't have Ash Blossom, and I played like 8 billion more games than I had to.

But I like Ghost Reaper.

And when I played against Kashtira they never ripped the right card from my extra deck when I activated Ghost Reaper/ Mulcharmy.
