Notes & Combos
First time ever reaching master. Playing this deck is very fun and rewarding.
This decklist is based on Youtuber MasatoLV2Saiyajin's decklist. Check out their channel. They have many great replays. I've learned a lot from them.
The only difference is I play 3 Oafdragon Magician instead of 2 Oafdragon + 1 Chronograph Sorcerer. I might try out the latter in Master.
I played Cross-Sheep and Accesscode instead of SP Little Knight and Zealantis for much of my climb but switched around Diamond 2. I rarely used Accesscode. Cross-Sheep is nice but I found myself using it less and less, or I used Spright Elf instead.
I don't recommend crafting Kashtira cards just for this deck. The deck should receive new support soon. It won't need the Kash cards after that. The Pendulum Magician channel has pinned decklists without Kash cards.
Full combo going 1st ends on Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon, Baronne, 3-4 mat Apollousa, Time+Star Pendulumgraph and Purple Poison Magician scaled. You can end on Spright Elf pointing to 2 of your 3 negators, Kashtira Unicorn, Kashtira Birth, Pendulumgraphs and Purple Poison if you used Beyond the Pendulum. BtP going 1st is usually summoned after a Kash SS and pend monster NS. The replay vs YuyA on my profile is an example. I could have ended with SP instead of Timestar.
If your opponent Maxx C's, you usually end on Bagooska. Try to have as much of the following as possible with Bagooska: Performapal Celestial Magician scaled, Time Pendulumgraph set with Purple Poison scaled and Spright Elf pointing to Bagooska. My oldest Master 5 replay is an example of this.
Going 2nd is tough. It often requires precise sequencing and I'm still learning. Especially vs meta. It can be hard to even get your scales in place. Even if I lose, it often feels like due to poor sequencing or lack of skill. Sometimes I practice going 2nd in casual. Going 2nd in casual was tougher than playing ranked, as weird as that sounds. Maybe because the decks you see there usually wouldn't be able to full combo in ranked and can be even more oppressive than meta decks if allowed to full combo.
This deck has many secret effects, both good and bad. Mainly because many of our cards are so conditional. I'll list some secret effects later in the comments because I'm about to exceed the word limit here. Of course I'll exceed the word limit. I'm a pendulum player!
Replays
My ID is 002-019-149.
I won 8 of 10 from D2 to M5 so not every game is interesting. 3 of 4 D1 replays are going 2nd. My opponent bricked in the M5 rankup game.
The replays show various situations such as going 2nd, full combo going 1st, playing vs Maxx C and around Nibiru. I use Dimension Shifter & Vaylantz field spells instead of Kashtira in the 2nd & 3rd oldest replays.
I misplay a lot, often because of the timer. Also, some of my opponents made weird plays. But these are the games.
