Notes & Combos

I'll have a video showing off the main combo I go for (Typically ending on Benghalancer, 1 material Teardrop, Rikka Konkon, Rikka Princess in GY, Marjoram+Blessed Winds, and Regulus), as well as various games where I either go 2nd or I get handtrapped and play through it. I also show off endboards that can happen if you draw multiple combo pieces in hand, like Rikka Sheet or Rikka Strenna being included. I genuinely think Rikka Sunavalon is a fantastic deck, but people refuse to play it for no reason except for some invisible bias against the deck.

Seriously, it's just as complicated as DLink and Snake-Eyes, people should know how to play against this deck and how to play this deck.

Also for this deck, I cut down some ratios from the 45 card versions people tend to default to, but I wasn't a big fan of the fact that people either did 45 cards or 60 cards for Plant Link. Mainly just because even if this deck is great going 1st, Maxx C is such a huge liability to this deck. So much so that even if I was cutting away possible extenders/going 2nd nonengine cards, I believed the consistency boost to see an anti-Maxx C card in my opening hand was worth it. I do believe the 60-card list is better for going 2nd, but hard-relying/hoping you draw non-engine with a 60 card list can be a bit frustrating, even if the main plant link gameplay is reliable even with 60 cards.

Also the one other thing I stuck to with this deck is Marjoram. Targetting protection for all plants is great, and the fact that she can pop backrow is a very very big benefit, considering that this deck really isn't good at interacting with backrow outside of Hyperyton or Regulus.
