Notes & Combos
People are dropping Droll probably because of Dracotail and Branded which is good for us. Diamond rank is quite easy to breeze through this season. Funny enough, random combo BS in Diamond V gave me more trouble than the meta decks. Super Poly over Droplet because it's slightly better against Kewl Tune and more gas from Garura. Played Ancient Gear Commander and Duel to have out to Mirrorjade and Liger Dancer.
Matchups
Kewl Tune
In theory this is a terrible matchup. They can adjust to any hands they see. Luckily Diamond Kewl Tune players don't sequence plays in the best way.
Branded
Easiest win among the popular decks. Because of the unfamiliarity of the matchup, many players are content with sitting on Titaniklad or The Dragon that Devours the Dogma and hoping it's enough. Ancient Gear Duel carried against Fallen of Albaz and Mirrorjade. The have The Fallen and the Virtuous and Khaos Starsource Dragon to contest it. I often trick them to use it on Fortress. I've never been hit with Khaos Starsource Dragon a single time.
Ennneacraft
Good matchup if I have access to Fortress. Almost all my non-engines do nothing against it. Droplet could work better but gets turned off by Dimenensional Fissure. This matchup is good enough that I don't have to worry about non-engine choices.
Dracotail
Spell trap destruction and negate hurts a lot.
Elfnote
Unplayable matchup. They end board usually cannot be Super Poly-ed. Standard variant with Fiendsmith is probably winnable with good hands. Heavy combo variant is close to unwinnable without Maxx "C"/Fuwalos.
Lunalight
If I have enough to push through Silver Hound and get Fortress on field, I win.
