Notes & Combos

Blind second. Didn't change much since my WCS 1st stage submission.

My main addition was Archnemeses Protos as a Wyrm target for the field spell. Banish 3 attributes is a bit awkward since I'm monster-light and some are pendulums. But sometimes it works out fine, and likewise if I can't assemble lethal it's a nice backup plan even if I have to go minus on board to get him out.

I also bumped up Kaiva to 2 since he's an in-engine board breaker that I usually was fine with drawing if the rest of my hand allows me to start playing. And it helps insulate against random Riseheart/Zombie Vampire/etc. mills from turning off the field spell.

I tossed in Mallet since the deck already dies to Droll. May as well throw in another draw spell playset that lets me mulligan the copious amount of garnets. With Mallet I think there's a real case for dropping Maxx C and Fuwa, but the deck dies so hard to Ash that I'm quite alright even with the 1-for-1 trades with them. On that note, Called By and Crossout should be banned, thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I dropped Extra-Foolish Burial because I've elected to continue running the traps and I dislike the anti-synergy with them + setting Super Poly on turns where my plays get halted. Maybe that's the wrong call though.

I'm running Megafleet because I think it's such a funny tech against Crystron and I'm not hurting too bad for ED space. It has come up for me, so I've no complaints about the spot. Zeus comparatively has come up even less, so I'd consider that my flex-iest spot currently.
