Notes & Combos

Many seasons ago, I built a Dogmatika deck to climb ranked to Master V. With the release of the new Albaz cards, I sought to "update" the deck and tried to climb back to Master V from Plat V. Through trial and errors alongside reading a guide, I reached Master V with this decklist.

The lack of MaxxC and Fuwalos is because of my deckbuilding preferences. The gameplan is to try to do Synchro -> Granguignol -> Dogmatika. I'm not going to write a detailed step-by-step.

1. The Synchro part is all about doing the combo line with the new Albaz.
2. Fusion summon {Granguignol} with {Cartesia} assuming she is already at hand/searched by Three Champions (assuming there is Dogmatika Ecclesia or NADIR at hand)
3. Granguignol put either {Titaniklad/Albion} in GY depending on situation/hand.
4. Special {Dogmatika Ecclesia} (since Granguignol is on field) and search {Fleurdelis Thunderbolt}. Special summon her to set {Dogmatika Punishment}.

Without getting handtrapped, the endboard is

• {Dogmatika Ecclesia} + {Granguignol} + {Fleurdelis Thunderbolt} on field
• {Fallen and Virtuous} + {Punishment Set}
• {Virtuous Ecclesia} and {Cartesia} return from GY + add {Fleurdelis Knight}

If MaxxC or Fuwalos, try to play passively with the objective of putting Titaniklad/Albion in GY.

Going 2nd means the deck rely heavily on handtraps and board breakers. Albaz and Super Poly is the best board breaker this deck have. Uphill battle against Sky Striker, Branded, Dracotail, Radiant Typhoon and Killer Tune.

Some extra notes:

• The Dogmatika Rituals, Maximus and Lawbringer is not in the deck as their "ED RIPPING" gives opponent access to AlbazPoly and FnV. Sometimes ended up bricking with them in hand.
• {Golden Swordsoul} feels like a win-more card to make the 3rd Lv8 Synchro.
• {Branded Retribution} can be played in this deck to recycle the fusion monsters from GY, but i am not sure which card to replace it with
• The niche combo you can do with {Fleurdelis Knight} and {Fleurdelis Thunderbolt} is: CL2 Knight then CL3 Thunderbolt for untargeted monster negate then setting {Punishment} afterwards. Assuming there's ED monster on field.
