Ugh this game...
This meta reminds me a lot of SHS meta. Maliss is incredibly powerful, but like SHS it has many weaknesses. Of course, Lancea is gg, but maxx c and spoly are ruinous for them as well (they lose a lot of advantage when they droll themselves). But most importantly, unlike other meta decks (namely snake eyes, fiendsmith, and primite) they're very bad going second.
For the first few days, the ladder was fairly easy: mostly Maliss. I dropped ash and even ran chaos hunter. But as the season progressed more and more old favorites popped up (primite, fiendsmith, white forest, branded, tenpai striker...) So, I had to cut back on my maliss hate and add the strongest traps available to us (torrential and solemn strike).
Banishing trap hole was very good against Maliss. Belle is neat too. But the ladder become so varied that I had to focus on the most reliable disruptions.
Also Konami please, stop making my climbs harder than they are. My last 10 duels my coin rate was 3-7! (winrate 6-4 though).
