Notes & Combos
So Maliss is here and with it Lancea and Chaos Hunder too.
Is it bad for us? Yes, and there's not much we can do about it. Maliss is way too strong going first and bcuz it's the most popular deck we have to try to win games against it going 2nd and the only way to do that is to resolve Maxx "C" or Lancea/Chaos Hunter. Otherwise you will endup having a really bad winrate.
Playing both Lancea and Chaos Hunter will make our deck weak to other strategies so it's better to play one of the 2. Lancea has more upsides, it doesn't play into Talents, and you can use Crossout Designator to negate Lancea against you. You can technically do the same against Chaos Hunter but you will have to clear it in some way, while Chaos Hunter can setup some plays with the discard.
This list is more high roll as It was hard to come up with something consistent that you can use to beat Maliss and other things while also trying to not lose to Lancea and Chaos Hunter. This list loses less to those but it does lose to Maxx "C" and Droll/Fuwalos with certain hands.
The other advantage of this list is that people don't really know what you will do next so you can beat people that don't know the strengh of their deck and shotgun disruptions when they didn't had to.
In the playlist, I play Fiendsmith before Maliss release, changed to pure ThunDra Bystial to experiment with hand traps and endup moving to this list to finish the climb out of Diamond.
I'll try a different list with some ideas that I had during the climb, as this list isn't something I'm a fan of.
Replays
I always share replays in MD, most of the duels are either wierd hands, trick situations or cool interactions. Check my profile (817-429-458) I always try to add new replays.
