Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Do I know Maliss at 60c is sub-optimal? Yes

Am I still going to try play Maliss at 60c? Yes

I "theorycraft" different ideas of what to combined with Maliss and decided to throw in the Labrynth cards. The Labrynth "Engine" can search & recyle any of the Maliss trap cards. Basically, you can bridge from Labrynth to Maliss via Lady Labrynth, but not the other way around though. In the beginning of my climb I was more Labyrnth/Trap "heavy", but as I climbed I ended up finding myself leaning more and more to a "board breaker" approach to help improve my going second chances. Meanwhile the Extra deck is highly flexible, including Terahertz package, so it really comes to "taste" so to speak. Overall, the deck "functionally" work, just you might find yourself bricking a little more often compared to the Pure Version. Specific card comments below:

"Liberator Eto": This was thrown in the deck just for fun and the artwork. Reminds me sorta of Vouiburial.

"Eradicator Epidemic Virus": I slotted in one of the Virus cards just to keep up with the theme behind Maliss.

"That Grass Looks Greener": Either this card is a lifesaver or a game loss, no in-between, lol

"Transaction Rollback": Initially had 3, but I cut it down to 1. You can leverage your opponent's Maliss/Labrynth cards too.

"Artifact Lancea": This card cost me several duels that I had in the bag or even before I played a single card. There were times I was "Lancea" back to back duels and my labrynth cards were no where insight too. I am on the fence whether or not I will keep playing Maliss solely because of this card's existence in the game.

  • Duels were marked if it had some unique gameplay to it: Surviving Nibiru, Maxx C, etc. Also, I tested out several tech cards, which is why you'll notice the use of cards that were not on the submitted deck list.
