Notes & Combos

It's blind second Infernoids which is pretty well-documented, so I'll just explain the small quirks in my build:

  • Underclock Taker: This is a really helpful tool for going for Equimax OTKs. By summoning Attondel to its link arrow, you can reduce the attack of most monsters to nothing. So long as your opponent has any monster with even a little attack in the upper Equimax zone, you can OTK without clearing their board - 2 Infernoids gives it around 7700 attack, so a little boost into a 0 attack monster does the trick. Lava Golem can be forced into that zone, and note that Equimax copies original attack so even if Lava Golem is the only monster remaining (or only one in attack position) you can OTK off it since it will still give Equimax 3000 attack even if Underclock nerfs it. As for why I think OTKing without clearing the board is notable, it's because of Tearlaments and Bystials. The former can be annoying to clear outside of combat, and the latter can bodyblock OTKs, especially if your opponent has drawn a bunch off Maxx C.
  • Sales Ban: This deck loses hard to Ash Blossom and Ash Blossom specifically. So a very targeted counter for it in addition to Called By is very helpful. If you really need extra help carving a path for your mill cards though, Sales Ban can also force out whatever problem card. It also has some funny niche interactions like calling Eglen vs Floo, likely preventing Dreaming Town from doing anything productive.
  • Kitkallos: I don't have much to say about this really, it's just a mill 5 off Tierra and seems kind of like a no-brainer to me?
  • Cosmic Cyclone: Red Reboot is likely better, I just didn't wanna spend the UR dust.
