Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Buster Blader to Master Rank!

Here we are at Master rank with an anime deck we made it through the meta decks and managed to climb up!

Some changes to the Main Deck

Pretty much the same list as before, I still enjoy Primite and the Bystials, I think they complement this deck pretty well.

  • Sage: He doesn't do much here but I figured I could add him at 1 just because he can search for Veiler and Whelp. He is also useful if you're going for the Accesscode line to summon him with Selene since we're actually not playing many spellcasters
  • Jack In Hand: Another 1 of situation, since we're playing 3 level ones now, I think this is the best spell to search them, I really don't like how it works but that's what we have
  • Magicians' Souls/IOC: I decided to cut them to 2 each, I still think they are great the problem is souls loses to every handtrap, but it's a great extender nonetheless
  • Evenly Matched: Won so many games with this, amazing board breaker, also running Harpie's Feather Duster but didn't come up that often (also limited to 1 ofc)
Final notes

This deck actually does pretty well against Yummy and Dracotail when it resolves, Yummy players think they can deal with Buster Blader but jokes on you all your cats are now dragons deal with it

The hardest matchups for us are decks that rely on spells and traps like Sky Striker, Odion and sometimes even Tenpai. Droll absolutelly decimates this deck but there was a match where I got drolled twice and still won, sometimes we have to be patient and play the grinding game. The easiest matchup is Blue-Eyes by far and for obvious reasons

Anyawy I'm excited for the new DM support so this might be my last time uploading Buster Blader. I will sure miss this deck, ofc it can brick but Buster Blader has had my back so many times, a true fellow companion that can at least get you to Master 5 if you believe in him
