Notes & Combos
I was prepared to love this format and love playing K9 Vanquish Soul, but I was just having a really bad time for a while trying to play K9. I decided to go anti-meta with Yummy, in that I opted to never activate a card effect in hand or GY during my turn 1. From that point, it was smooth sailing out of the cesspool that is Diamond rank.
Don't even ask regarding Card Destruction. It was a funny idea for a boardbreaker against Vanquish Soul, forcing them to discard their hand of searched-for interactions and attributes, but largely how it got used was a glorified Magical Mallet. That said, whenever my opponent sat through my uninterrupted combo instead of scooping, I would assume they had a cracked engine/boardbreaking hand, so I made Arc Light and activated Card Destruction to force them to banish their whole hand and (hopefully) draw into a worse one.
Also, to answer the questions of "Why is there only 2 Cooky? Why no Purge?" The answer is I didn't wanna spend the crafting points.
